Silt Management - Bordon

Contracted by Whitehill and Bordon Regeneration Company, Avon Construction were contracted to undertake silt control measures to prevent surface water silt entering the watercourse from a housing development nearby.

The works consisted of installation of 850m of silt fencing around water courses and stockpiles, installation of silt bags within newly installed gully pots, jetting of blocked drainage runs, Installation of dam check (gabion baskets) at outfall locations, installation of silt matting in vulnerable locations; and topsoil and seed to deter surface water run-off.  

Works were carried out June 2025 and completed in time for the client environmental inspections.
